This is when you feel like dining in style, the style patented by the Taj group. Since this is a heritage hotel, you will be sitting in a many-arched restaurant with chandeliers glittering over your
head. This is one of the few places in the city that has a large selection of Rajasthani dishes, although they also offer Continental and Chinese cuisines. But then we weren't here for those and started
with the pyaaz aur boondi ki kadhi (gram flour and yogurt cooked with onions and garlic) which is an intriguing combination and works well. We went on to the delicate hara mattar sisua, a tasty blend
of green peas and ginger, which was a satisfying experience. Again a strong desert influence shows up in the paapad ki sabzi, using paapads in the place of vegetables.
You should also try the non-vegetarian stuff. The good thing about five-star dining is that they get the best meat and the best cuts. Among their signature dishes are the murg methi ki bhajia (chicken
rolled in fenugreek leaves and cooked in yogurt) and the sizzling maas ka soyeta (lamb on the bone) or the skewered maas ka soola.
